Lucy Johnson

Biography

I'm the University Secretary at the University of Essex. I lead the governance and information assurance teams and advise Council, its committees and the Vice-Chancellor. I am a member of the Executive Committee. Prior to this role, I have worked in the Office of the Vice-Chancellor as Deputy University Secretary and, before that, as Assistant Registrar. My previous career was in information services, and I worked in the UK Data Archive between 2001 and 2015 and for the King's Fund before then. I am a qualified Information Scientist.
