With a background in internal communication and customer service management, and experience in business relationship management consultancy, I joined the University of Essex in 2009 and have worked in professional service roles in academic and professional services departments. I received my degree in Business Management from the University of East Anglia. Initially I worked with the Head of Student Support and Director of Student Life in a projects and support role, delivering IT systems and process review and enhancement as well as service team management. Subsequently I spent four years working within the University's admissions team, managing the Priority Agents Service and working with colleagues and external stakeholders across our international community. I joined the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering in October 2022.
