Biography
I am a PhD researcher in Management at Essex Business School, My research explores how affective computing and AI supported emotional feedback can influence managerial decision making under pressure, with a particular focus on stress, decision quality and ethical decision making. Prior to my PhD, I completed an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications at the University of Essex, where my research focused on the use of AI and biometric technologies to analyse and interpret human emotional responses. My Masters research developed my interest in the relationship between technology, emotion and human behaviour, which I now extend into a management context through my doctoral research. My academic background in artificial intelligence and management information systems allows me to approach my research from both technological and organisational perspectives. I am particularly interested in how AI can support managers and leaders while protecting autonomy, privacy, trust and human responsibility in the workplace.
