This study investigates how interculturality is interpreted and enacted in English language classrooms at an Indonesian university through a qualitative case study.

The findings reveal a more nuanced understanding of interculturality, emphasising reciprocal dialogues that foreground diverse local and national languages and cultures before engaging with the global English.
