Welcome to the Successful Futures Conference 2021. This year, the conference will focus on Surviving the Chaos. We'll hear from global and local organisations who will explore the impact of COVID on their operations and will discuss their future priorities.

Our skills session will be delivered by City Careers Series author and ex-Freshfields lawyer Jake Schogger, who will be covering a variety of topics from expert application advice and top tips on how to avoid common mistakes, to developing resilience and how to effectively articulate a range of skills and experiences to set yourself apart from the competition. This will be an interactive session with plenty of time for questions, so come prepared!"

I have been a part of Colchester Citizens Advice for over six years and my current roles are that of an accredited Debt Advisor and a Session Supervisor.  I also offer outreach support to clients with mental health issues.

Prior to Citizens Advice, I was employed within the Insurance/Risk Management industry for over 25 years.  I am married and live in Colchester with my wife Lou; we have two adult sons and two cats borrowed from our neighbour."
