Biography

I am a qualified occupational therapist with a degree from Kagoshima University in Japan. Since 2009, I have worked at an acute and rehabilitation ward and outpatient of Junwakai Memorial Hospital that provides rehabilitation for patients who have suffered a stroke, brain injury, neurological diseases, spinal injury, and etc. In particular, I have been interested in the rehabilitation of people with cognitive dysfunction due to brain injury. I studied neuropsychological rehabilitation at the Oliver Zangwill Centre in the UK in 2015 and I received a masters degree in MSc Principles of Clinical Neuropsychology at Bangor University in the UK in 2019. I am currently working on PhD Occupational Therapy as a part-time international student with distance learning while working full time at a hospital in Japan.
