Biography
I am an English Language Trainer, Academic Writer, and qualified Assistant Professor in India, with over 10 years of experience teaching both adolescents and adults. A graduate in English and Communication Studies, I hold certificates in English proficiency from esteemed institutions such as the University Grants Commission, India, and the British Council. I have also received training in English Language Teaching from Christ University, Bangalore. My work focuses on bridging gaps in language proficiency for students of all age groups and working professionals, tailoring each course to their specific goals and requirements. I conduct workshops, courses, and one-on-one mentorship programmes in Spoken English, Public Speaking, Reading, and Communicative English for school and university students as well as corporate professionals. Over the years, I have mentored several students transitioning to the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum or moving to schools abroad, particularly in the UK. At present, I am pursuing my PhD research on the impact of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)-integrated language courses on the achievement emotions of undergraduate STEM students in India. I am deeply passionate about reading across genres and staying updated with the latest trends in language learning, especially for ESL students. Through my teaching, I strive to help learners develop a boundless vision and an urge to create--qualities that serve them well throughout their lives.
