Disentangling The Effects of Climate Change on Plant-Microbe Productivity in Salt Marsh Ecosystems

Climate change intensifies threats to saltmarsh ecosystems through sea-level rise and extreme weather, while rising atmospheric carbon dioxide directly alters plant function. Understanding how key saltmarsh vegetation responds to these changes is critical for predicting shifts in the ecosystem's carbon balance.
