Biography

Working within the NHS and private sectors for early 20 years, Sarah is an experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with a special interest in Hand Therapy. Sarah currently practices within the NHS as a First Contact Physiotherapist in Primary Care, working as part of an exciting and dynamic team in Essex. Sarah is a member of the British Association of Hand Therapists (BAHT) and an Accredited Hand Therapist. Teaching within Higher Education over the last few years has enabled sharing of her specialist knowledge and skills, supporting postgraduate Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists to extend their scope of practice towards Advanced Practice level. Sarah is passionate about supporting students to utilise research evidence to inform and impact their clinical practice. Chartered Physiotherapist (67433), Registered with the Healthcare Professions Council (PH62275), Member of the British Association of Hand Therapists (2049).
