Lindsey Russell

Biography

Lindsey has worked at the University in a number of roles since 1998 and is a trained marketer and associate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Her current role as Director of External Relations oversees the delivery of all institutional strategies and services relating to admissions, advancement, brand management, communications, global partnerships, market insight, international student recruitment (including agent management, business development and regional international office networks),marketing (including advertising and web and marketing systems), stakeholder engagement, UK student recruitment and access. A core responsibility includes responding to the rapidly changing HE sector, ensuring strategies and resources are agile, and maximising return on investment from available resources. Her role also involves developing close working relationships with colleagues across senior management, Professional Services and academic departments to ensure opportunities aligned with strategies are maximised.
