Steffany George

Biography

Steffany George has been teaching at East 15 Acting School since 2007 and is the Head of Movement in Southend. She taught movement and directed plays at The Stella Adler Studio of Acting in NYC from 1990-2006. Her more recent Movement Director credits include 'Eclipsed' and 'The Convert' (Gate Theatre), 'F*CK The Polar Bears' (Bush Theatre) and 'Continuity' (Finbourgh Theatre). Steffany performed as a contemporary dancer in NYC and Germany from 1990-2006 with Mark Jarecke, Jeanine Durning, Ralf Jaroschinski, Gerald Casel and Mimi Gerrard. She has also appeared in the work of Elizebeth Streb, Susan Rethorst and Cyndi Lee. She practices Contact Improvisation and is studying Psychotherapy at the London School of Biodynamic Psychotherapy.
