Biography

I am particularly interested in exploring how different groups (underserved populations) have access to interventional research in the NHS. This focus aligns with my broader goal of promoting equity in healthcare research. In my role as a Clinical Research and Development (R&D) Lead within the NHS, I have gained extensive experience in delivering a variety of clinical trials. This position has honed my skills in managing complex research projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and leading multidisciplinary teams to achieve research objectives.

Research interests

Improved access to health research (special focus on interventional drug trials)

Improved access to health research including interventional drug trials. Making healthcare research accessible to underserved populations such as those with learning disabilities, migrant communities and those from deprived areas. Improving access to healthcare provisions in the NHS ( including through participation in healthcare research)
