Arrivals Day - Southend Campus

Your first day is going to be ACE!

 Arrivals Day is primarily about getting settled into your new home at the University of Essex.   Take time to collect your keys, unpack, explore your new home and meet new friends.

About Arrivals Day

You can arrive and move into your accommodation from 9am. We’ll be here ready to welcome you and give you a helping hand.

 After you've unloaded and unpacked, there will be opportunity to meet your fellow housemates, meet your RA (Residents' Assistant)  and Students' Union.  Our campus is in the heart of Southend on Sea a couple of minutes' walk from the High Street, so enjoy exploring the local area.

Our Southend Campus, including our University Square accommodation, is in the heart of Southend-on-Sea.  Find out how to get here by car, bus, coach, train, taxi or for onward travel from airports. 

Airport transfers - A ‘meet and greet’ airport transfer service is run on Sunday 30 September from some local airports - find out more and book your place.
