Be the best you can be
Our Learning Resource Centre (Colchester Campus) offers informal study space and a
library. You'll find books, CDs and DVDs on study skills, English language and specific academic subjects, as well as general reference books.
Every student arrives at Essex with the same spirit of determination but different
experiences of education and levels of academic readiness. It's natural for you to progress
through your studies excelling more in some areas than others.
The Talent Development Centre can help you identify your talents and strengthen those areas
you need to develop. We offer support and resources to improve your writing,
maths, research, study skills and
English language. We also run the
Peer-Assisted Learning scheme.
Together we'll build a lifelong commitment to learning that will sustain success throughout
your academic life and career.
