The module exposes students to different political theories and approaches within the field of political science. It provides an overview of the requirements for writing a dissertation. The sessions aim to train students on how to lead independent research. The students have the opportunity to explore the applicability of various tools and techniques and discuss their research ideas.

The main aim of this module is to teach students to think and write critically about their chosen dissertation topic. These aims and objectives are achieved through a variety of teaching and learning strategies such as lectures and in-depth seminar sessions.

3. Introduce students to identifying feasible research questions
