This module provides practical experience with students opting either to work one their own, or in a group to produce a small festival of arts event of their choice. They will have to secure a venue, programme the event, produce a marketing outline and manage the final project. This could take the form of a live event, a festival of filmed work, or a digital festival that happens in cyberspace.

This module will culminate in the creation of an event/festival of the student’s own design. While the event/festival will need to culminate in a real event, the event itself will not be assessed, the assessment will take place through a log-book
presenting concept, organizational plans, marketing strategy and the evaluation of the event. This can be submitted in a traditional, written format or through creative use of media.
Portfolio of approximately 4000 words (100%)
The teaching will take place through tutorials and feedback on interim assignments / reports provided by the student.
