Research Overview

The school has a great breadth of expertise, from the most concrete and physical parts of engineering and physics to the most abstract and mathematical parts of computing – though of course it has areas of specialization within that the spectrum. Many of those areas lie in the fertile land between traditional computing and traditional electronics.

The quality of research in the School has been confirmed in the 2008 national Research Assessment Exercise
