Returning from long term leave following COVID-19 outbreak
If you have been on a period of leave, we are conscious that it may be an unsettling time to return to work. We would still encourage the use of KIT/SPLIT days to help facilitate your return. Managers can help identify suitable activities, which could include:
- setting up the technology to be able to work at home
- updates on the University’s approach to managing the impact of Coronavirus
- online webinars
- Zoom or telephone meetings with key contacts to update on work
Please also discuss any concerns you may have about returning to work, your role, whether working from home is possible and any underlying health conditions (advice should be sought from Occupational Health via covid19@essex.ac.uk).
