A Lament for Power - Gaming Night with artists Larry Achiampong and David Blandy

Join artists Larry Achiampong and David Blandy for a special gaming night session in which the artists will battle it out on the popular Nintendo game Splatoon 2.

Artists Larry Achiampong and David Blandy have got two things in common – a love of art and a love gaming. They’ve been friends since art school and have found ways to work together ever since – including bringing gaming into their artworks. Best known for hacking into Grand Theft Auto 5 for their seminal ‘Finding Fanon’ series, they argue that the gaming world offers a pertinent metaphor for the structures that govern our lives and experience in the real life.

Come along and watch Larry and David play on their consoles, send questions to the artists - or join in for private battles if you have a Nintendo Switch and a copy of the game!
