SPEAKERS
1.TOM STRANGER
23 years ago, at the age of 18, Tom raped his girlfriend, Thordis Elva, after a party they had both attended. Tom will share his story to put a spotlight on male responsibility. More widely, his experience will allow us to reflect on harmful gender stereotypes and how these can contribute to sexual assault.
In 2016 Tom contributed to a TED talk with Thordis, and they published a book about their experience titled South of Forgiveness.
