With so much of the media, the political class and the public still so keen to re-litigate the Brexit referendum of 2016, there still remains far too little discussion on what the consequences of Brexit will be for the United Kingdom, and for the wider European Union. As author Ian Dunt has it in the title of his latest book: "Brexit. What the hell happens now?".
In its unique way, this THINK event does not seek to simplistically debate the pros and cons of Brexit (again!), but to lay out informed visions of the possible futures Brexit has created.
We will be joined by Ian Dunt, editor of politics.co.uk and leading figure in current debates about just what the referendum decision has wrought, and Marie Le Conte, French-born journalist (late of Buzzfeed), who provides an informed and pointed European perspective on the politics and pantomines of Brexit.
In a chaotic and partisan public discourse, these two figures continually provide nuance and insight with wit and clarity on perhaps the most complex and vexing political issue facing the United Kingdom.
We are privileged and delighted to welcome Ian and Marie speak at our THINK Series on Wednesday 7 February at 2pm in the Ivor Crewe B.
No need to register for this free event - just turn up.
Part of the THINK Series.
