Activist and campaigner Femi Nylander and a SU representative will discuss issues of race and universities in the United Kingdom and beyond.

Topics of discussion will include the recently-released statistics on BME admissions to Oxford and Cambridge; the lack of diversity amongst lecturers and particularly amongst professors; strategies for decolonialising the curriculum; and the apparent tensions between commitments to free speech and the rise of right-wing and racist rhetoric on campus.
