A PhD community

Doctoral Affiliates Network

Research students in the Human Rights Centre come from many different academic departments and disciplines across the University. We refer to this community as the Doctoral Affiliates Network.

Established in 2008, the Doctoral Affiliates Network serves as a forum for the community of research students across the University, with an interest in the theory and practice of human rights. It also provides the opportunity for researchers with an interest in human rights to interact with each other, and to be part of the Human Rights Centre and its activities.

Past events carried out by the Doctoral Affiliates Network have included career development sessions, workshops and research seminars. It remains the only forum in which PhD students with research interests in human rights can develop multi- and inter-disciplinary human rights research.

Please explore our members below, and if you are interested in being part of the Network, please email hrccoreteam@essex.ac.uk indicating your interest.
