UK Engagement Survey (UKES)

Take part in UKES

Tell us about your experience.

Are you in your 1st or 2nd year of studying at Essex? Let us know what you think.

The UK Engagement Survey (or UKES) is a national survey for undergraduate students which invites you to reflect on your time at University so far in relation to your course and wider learning experience.

The survey is run at the University of Essex each spring term and is open to 1st, 2nd and some 3rd/final year students.

We’re keen to make sure students have the best possible experience while studying at the University of Essex. To do that we need to know what you think we are doing well and what we can do better.

The survey is a chance to reflect on how you study and what might help your studies in future. The results also help the University of Essex and Students’ Union make changes that will improve what we do in future and to keep doing the things that are of value.

If you’re eligible to complete the survey, we will contact you in the 2020 spring term to invite you to take part.

How to take part in the UKES

Giving your feedback is easy and takes around 15 minutes.

You will receive an email with a link to complete the questionnaire. Simply click on the link, enter your username and password, and complete the online form.

The survey is open between 3 February – 30 April 2020.

If you do not wish to receive any communications and/or want to opt out of any survey can do so by emailing providing your full name, course registration number.
