Stonewall LGBT+ training programmes

As part of our commitment to developing our membership, we offer a range of external events to empower employees to take positive action to address the underrepresented, and bring this back to develop and impact our community.

Stonewall Young Leaders

The Stonewall Young Leaders programme provides a unique opportunity to explore what it means to be an authentic role model. It gives participants the space to reflect on the relationship between their identity as an LGBT person and their influence in the workplace.

  • Duration: 2 days.
  • Audience: all people who identify as lesbian, gay, bi and trans aged 18 to 25.

Stonewall LGBTQ+ Allies

The Stonewall one day Allies programme gives non-LGBTQ+ individuals the opportunity to explore what it means to be an ally and the space to identify how they are going to create an inclusive environment for everyone. The programme will include practical ways to step up as an ally, building confidence and motivation to become visible and influential. You will be provided with various networking opportunities throughout the programme.

  • Duration: 1 day.
  • Audience: for non-LGBTQ+ individuals at any level from any sector or industry. 

Stonewall LGBT+ Role Models

The Stonewall one day LGBT Role Models programme gives individuals the opportunity to explore what it means to be a role model and the space to identify how they are going to create an inclusive environment for everyone. You will get insights on practical ways to step up as an LGBT role model, how to increase motivation and confidence to be a visible and influential role model. You will be provided with various networking opportunities throughout the programme. 

  • Duration: 1 day.
  • Audience: for LGBT professionals at any level from any sector or industry.

Stonewall Trans Allies

The Stonewall Trans Allies programme offers you the chance to explore and better understand language and terminology. You will also get the opportunity to hear personal stories from trans people and learn about the lived experiences of trans individuals in society and at work. The programme aims to help you recognise your influence and responsibility when it comes to creating an inclusive workplace. You will be provided with various networking opportunities throughout the programme.

  • Duration: 1 day.
  • Audience: for non-trans individuals at any level of an organisation and from any sector or industry. 

Stonewall LGBTQ+ leadership programme

The Stonewall LGBTQ+ leadership programme is externally delivered by Stonewall and is an intensive two-day residential, which offers an opportunity to reflect on how your identity as an LGBTQ+ person has had an impact on your leadership journey. It will help you understand what it means to be an authentic and inclusive leader. You will also explore how to be a more visible and inclusive leader. It includes opportunities for professional networking with senior LGBTQ+ leaders. 

  • Duration: 2 days.
  • Audience: for senior leaders who identify as LGBTQ+.
