Monitoring - A fix has been applied to one aspect of the Eduroam network and connectivity and performance looks to be back to operational levels. Identified - Eduroam performance is currently degraded across the Southend Campus for most users. If you find that your device is no longer able to connect to Eduroam, or is dropping its connection, you will need to 'Forget' the Eduroam network on your device and re-add Eduroam - further instructions can be found here: https://www.essex.ac.uk/student/it-services/wifi

Identified - We have identified that the issue is affecting all web services with a .essex.ac.uk web address.

This is an external problem and we are awaiting a fix.

Previous tests have revealed a specific issue with the Southend phone system. To investigate this we will be isolating it from the rest of the University, during which users may not be able to make or receive a phone call.

This includes internal and external calls and voicemail.

The rest of the University phone system, including Teams users, will be unaffected.
