Winter Insight Day

Ever wondered what it is like to study with us?

Join us at the University of Essex for our Winter Insight Day, where we will be running a selection of different taster sessions across all three of our teaching faculties, allowing students the option to sample two subject areas and meet our enthusiastic staff members.

In addition, we will be holding a department fair, allowing students to chat to staff from additional subject areas.

Students will also have the opportunity to take a tour of our Colchester campus with our student ambassadors to hear first hand what it’s like to study at Essex and get any questions answered.

The general programme can be found below:

 9.45am Arrival Car Park A
 10.00am to 10.30am Welcome talk and introduction to the day LTB 6
 10.30am to 11.20am Taster session 1  
 11.30am to 12.15pm Campus tour LTB 6
 12.15pm to 1.00pm

Lunch

Please ensure students bring a packed lunch with them as there will be limited time to purchase food on campus

  
 1.10pm to 2.00pm Taster session 2  
 2.05pm to 3.00pm

 Academic Fair

Schools free to leave from 2.00pm

 LTB Foyer
 3.00pm  Departure

Students under the age of 16, attending as individuals, will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This event is running alongside our Language Conference for Teachers.
