University Lecture Taster - 'What makes a superhero?', delivered by Dr Miriam Kent, Lecturer in Film Studies.
Students will be introduced to key issues in media representation through the figure of the superhero. They'll also find out why superheroes are so important to us and what they tell us about ourselves, whilst drawing attention to the relevance of Film and Media Studies within today’s society.
