We are delighted to be hosting a higher education taster day for care-experienced students at our Colchester campus as part of the Future Stars: Setting your Sights on University programme.
Online booking for this event is essential. Whilst care-experienced students and their parents/carers/guardians will be prioritised, this event is now also open to all students in years 9-13.
Please view the full programme and booking link below.
Care-experienced students and their parents, carers, guardians and/or a friend of their choice are invited to attend a fun-filled day at the University of Essex.
This experience will help attendees become aware of the opportunities offered at university and increase their confidence in their ability to make informed decisions about their next steps. It will also provide support for parents, carers, and guardians and increase their knowledge and confidence in supporting their young person progress into higher education.
The day will include a subject taster, workshops, a tour of the campus, lunch, goody bags, specific support and guidance for care leavers/estranged students that are available at university, and more. Please view the full programme below.
Lunch and travel expenses are included.
Please get in touch if you have any questions.
