Biography

I obtained the BEng, MEng and PhD degrees from Beijing Institute of Technology, Tsinghua University and Queen’s University Belfast, respectively. Before joining University of Essex in 2021, I held several research posts in University of Dundee, Swansea University, Cardiff University and University of East Anglia.

My research is mainly on developing fundamental methods in data science, statistics, machine learning and causal inference with applications especially in disease diagnosis, treatment and prognosis.
