Biography

I am an experienced research development and impact specialist with a biomedical science background and over 17 years experience in research management and administration. As the University's Research Impact Manager, I lead the Research Impact Team supporting the generation of real world impact from research across all disciplines at the University of Essex and led the University's impact submission for the 2021 Research Excellence Framework assessment. Institutional lead for the University's HM Government Open Innovation Team Partnership Professional services lead for the University's Centre for Public and Policy Engagement Institutional contact for Universities Policy Engagement Network (UPEN) and UPEN Futures Committee member
