Dr Hilary Lowe (Billie), Dip Speech Pathology and Therapy, MSc Joint Professional Practice: Language and Communication, PhD Language and Communication Science, MRCSLT, Reg HCPC. Practice Educator in Speech and Language Therapy, School of Health and Social Care. Speech and language therapist with 30 years’ NHS and independent practice experience, specialising in developmental speech and language disorder. Research interests include vocabulary difficulties in adolescents with language disorder, particularly the interface between clinical and educational support for these students, and the collaboration between teachers and speech and language therapists.
