Biography

Ioannis Korkos is a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Essex and his research examines explosive time series and macroprudential policy. Furthermore, Ioannis is a final year doctoral student in Finance at Essex Business School, University of Essex and holds a BSc in Economics from University of Macedonia, a MSc in Banking and Finance from the International Hellenic University and an MRes in Finance frοm University of Essex. Ioannis has been funded by the Economics and Research Council (ESRC) and his research examines explosive time series and macroprudential policy. He has taken part on conferences and workshops in the UK, Cyprus, Italy and Greece. Ioannis is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (D1, AFHEA) . Finally, Ioannis has working experience in accounting and finance, consulting and wholesale/retail.
