Biography

Communications and Engagement Manager for the Library and Cultural Services (including the three campus library services, Art Exchange gallery, Lakeside Theatre, ESCALA collection, University art collections, special collections and archives) at the University of Essex. Formerly Marketing Officer for Essex Business School (attached to Marketing and Student Recruitment (MaSR) under the Communications and External Relations (CER) directive) and prior to that, Marketing Officer for Employability and Careers within the Academic Section. A digital marketing professional who previously held the role of Marketing Manager (UK and Ireland) for Icopal Ltd, the international roofing materials manufacturing giant. Chose to leave the private sector in order to pursue a passion for supporting and developing young adults. An accomplished digital marketer, graphic designer and HTML wiz, I manage the Library and Cultural Services marketing, communications and engagement strategies and plans and oversee the delivery of student, staff and external stakeholder campaigns for the Library and Cultural Services. Also a freelance illustrator.
