The British Cultural Memory of the War in the Air 1939-1945
James is studying the cultural memory of the Second World War focussing on the war in the air. James looks into how this memory has been continued through public mediums such as in films, literature, and video games to establish perceptions and personas of 'the flyer' in cultural memory, identity, and culture.
