Profile
Biography
Tarikul is an interdisciplinary researcher in accountability, social business, and entrepreneurship. His papers have been published in the Journal of Business Ethics, Marine Policy, and Journal of Islamic Economics, Banking and Finance. He joined the Essex Business School in Autumn 2018, as a Lecturer in Accounting. Previously, he held various positions in a couple of universities in Bangladesh including Jahangirnagar University and Khulna University. Tarikul graduated from the PhD Program concentration in Accountancy at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) of Australia. He completed masters degrees from KTH-Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), Universidad Pontificia Comillas de Madrid (Spain), Delft University of Technology (Netherlands), and Universite Paris-Sud11 (France). He holds a Bachelor degree in business administration from Jahangirnagar University. Tarikul is open to supervise and invites research proposals in the areas of accountability, social purpose corporate hybridization, and entrepreneurship.
