Biography

Dr Liang Hu is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, as part of Essex Robotics Group, University of Essex, UK. He received the PhD degree in Computer Science from Brunel University London in 2016. From 2016 to 2018, he worked as a Postdoctoral researcher at Queen's University Belfast and subsequently at Loughborough University, in the UK. Before joining the University of Essex, he was a Lecturer with the School of Computer Science and Informatics, De Montfort University, UK. His research interests include: Safe Autonomy; Bayesian Filtering and Learning; Control Theory and Applications; Cyber-Physical Systems. He is currently an associate editor for the journals IEEE Access and Evolutionary Intelligence (Springer).
