Biography

I am interested in norms surrounding intimate life, particularly focused on the sexual lives and identities of women. My main interest is within sexuality, and how individuals choose to label their sexual identity. My PhD is titled: What does lesbian non monogamy tell us about societal norms on intimacy? and is focussed on non monogamies such as polyamory, swinging and open relationships, and how lesbian women describe and analyse their own personal life histories.

What does lesbian non monogamy tell us about societal norms on intimacy?

My PhD is based on lesbian non monogamies, and the lived experiences of these women who are in non monogamous relationships or who partake in non monogamous acts. It is based on non monogamies such as polyamory, swinging and open relationships, as well as other forms of non monogamy and looks to understand how these relationships challenge the embedded norms of intimacy and monogamy.
