Biography

I am a doctoral candidate in sociology at the University of Essex. I study how institutional contexts in charitable actions shape the motives of prosocial behaviour, and are shaped by marketisation. Most of my research uses quantitative methods on experimental survey data. For most of my time, I primarily examine how collective imaginaries affect behaviour change in the provision of public goods.
