Jana Kujundzic holds a B.A in Philosophy and Sociology obtained at the University of Zagreb-Center for Croatian studie and an MA in Sociology at the University of Zagreb- Center for Croatian studies. She obtained another MA degree in Gender studies at the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary in 2014. After finishing one year vocational training at the City of Zagreb-Office for Social Welfare and Persons with Disabilities in 2015, she passed the Croatian state exam. She is a longterm volunteer for the Association of Youth and Family Judges and Specialists, and a writer/translator for Libela - Portal for Gender and Democracy since 2012. She was a member of the Zagreb Pride Organizing Committee from 2015 to 2016 and has participated in the IPA project Respect Human Rights Build Inclusive Society"- lecturing on the topic of human rights during a three day seminar for the police officers and lecturing on the history of the LGBTIQ movement in Croatia in the University of Zagreb and Rijeka. Before starting her PhD she was the EU national project coordinator for the NGO Brave Phone.
