Biography

Susanne joined the Languages for All team at the University of Essex in 2015. Before that, she worked in a BMBF research project at the University of Marburg, Germany on combining adult migrant literacy training with vocational-related contents in German as a foreign language. She was DAAD-Lektorin at the University of Kent from 2007 to 2012 and has taught German as a foreign language at both undergraduate and graduate level in universities in Germany, USA and UK. Member of the DAAD Ortslektorenprogramm, EuroCALL and the Association for Learning Technology

Qualifications

  • PhD in German as a foreign language - Justus-Liebig-University Giessen, Germany (in progress)

  • MA (Magister) in American Studies, Media Arts and German as a Foreign Language - Philipps-University Marburg, Germany
