Biography
Vanessa is a Senior Research Officer with extensive experience of research and evaluation within industry and the public sector. Vanessa has been a Certified Member of the Market Research Society since 1994. Vanessa undertook a wide variety of projects for both Adult and Children’s Social Care and Public Health while working for Essex County Council for nearly 20 years. She now leads on external collaborative research and service evaluations as part of her role within the Health and Care Research Service at the University of Essex. Recent projects have included: evaluations of three recurrent care services, two edge of care services and a Community of Practice for recurrent care practitioners; a review of good practice in primary and secondary care for people living with dementia; a review of learning from the development of different models of integrated care services; and a review of lessons learnt while redesigning children's centres.
