Studying at East 15 Acting School in Loughton isn’t just your average student experience. You’ll be in intensive training at one of the most prestigious and original
internationally respected conservatoires in the country – preparing you with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue a career in the performing arts.

The original home of East 15 Acting School. Split over three sites – Hatfields, Roding House, and Unit Four – Loughton houses some of the
best theatre school facilities in the UK.
Studios for dance, radio, technical theatre, workshops, rehearsal spaces, costume and prop departments, and its very own theatre are just some of the
amenities available to use.
Making yourself at home in Loughton is easy. As a residential town, there are plenty of options available, and the majority of students choose to rent
flats and houses near campus.
We’ll send you information about accommodation once you’ve accepted your place at East 15, plus, if you’ve got you have any questions or worries, your
helpful Accommodation Officer is on hand to offer loads of impartial advice too, making sure you settle in in no time!
Yearning for the great outdoors? The campus is bordered by London’s largest open space, Epping Forest, is just a stone’s throw away from Loughton. If
you’re not afraid to get muddy, grab a mountain bike, or saddle up and try horse-riding. Alternatively, take a gentle walk throughout the 6,000 acres of
beautiful, ancient woodland, and see what rare wildlife you can spot.
Are the bright lights of the city calling you? Hop on the Central line from Debden underground station (just a five-minute walk from campus), and within half an hour
you can be amongst the buzz, excitement, and rich cultural diversity of central London.
We think you’ll agree that Loughton has the best of both worlds.
Facilities and support
As well as all of the brilliant stage and theatre facilities available to East 15 students, you’ll also have access to
computer rooms, and the
libraries at Hatfields, Southend and Colchester Campuses.
We understand the intense demands of conservatoire training, which is why we provide a co-ordinated network of support – confidential advice and information
on everything from money worries, to academic and personal pressures. We’ll help to take a weight off your shoulders.
We also offer support for dyslexia and other learning difficulties, as well as for people with disabilities, and aim to provide an accessible and enabling
environment for everyone.
To be in with the best chance of success after graduation, you’ll receive great professional careers guidance in your final year of your undergraduate
degree, or throughout your postgraduate degree. You’ll You will get help with be helped in planning audition pieces and will receive advice from working
professionals, to give you the confidence, knowledge and skills to do brilliant things to progress in this vibrant industry.
