With working languages of Chinese, English and Japanese, she have been working as a freelance translator and interpreter for years. As an interpreter, she has worked for many international conferences, forums and meetings in the areas of cultural heritages, environment, general laws, social issues, finance, economics, accounting, arts and music, primarily in European countries and China. She also has extensive experience of translating key projects for international organizations and research institutes.
Before coming to Essex University, she was co-teaching with lecturers from a practical perspective, on modules of Bilateral Interpreting, Consecutive Interpreting, Simultaneous Interpreting and Translation for EU in Newcastle University.
