The master plan
Our illustrative master plan gives an overview
of how the Knowledge Gateway might ultimately look. It will include 400,000 square feet (37,161 m2)
of commercial space and a range of ancillary facilities.
Set in 43 acres of mature parkland adjoining our Colchester Campus,
the Knowledge Gateway is set to become one of the prime locations for research
and business in Essex. You'll gain competitive advantage through an attractive

Essex Business School
Planned for completion in late 2014, the new Essex Business School will be located next to the Knowledge Gateway enabling businesses to work alongside leading academics in management and finance and take maximum advantage of new courses and facilities.
Now open for viewing, Parkside Office Village is our
accommodation for small and medium-sized businesses offering suites from approx 110 sq m (1,195 sq ft) to self-contained
buildings up to 435 sq m (4,680 sq ft).
Occupiers of the Knowledge Gateway will have access to a unique set of University campus facilities which range from meeting rooms, conferencing and hotel accommodation to printing services, childrens day nursery, theatre, art gallery, top of the range gym as well as restaurants, banks and even a post office.
