A panel discussion with our Travel and Sustainability teams, joined also by Essex Sport and the Student's Union to share with you what life is like on our Campuses.
With short presentations introducing each service, followed by a Panel Discussion and Q&A session.
Get Ready for Essex: Looking after You, Your Money and Your Future Career - Wednesday 23 September, 12-1pm
Budgeting as a student can be tough. This session will focus on managing your money and your wellbeing while at university. In addition, representatives from our Careers team will discuss part-time work opportunities and how these can be managed alongside your studies and complement your future career goals.
Get Ready for Essex: Preparing for Academic Study - Thursday 1 October, 12-1pm
What are the expectations when starting University? How does University differ from school? How can I ensure I am as prepared as possible for University? If you find yourself asking any of these questions, then this is the session for you. Delivered by the library skills team, you will finish the session understanding how learning works at University level, how you can best prepare to excel in your studies and how to use our LEAP system to monitor your progress.
