If you're arriving by car, there will be yellow AA road signs to help guide you to Campus from main travel routes. These will lead you to Boundary Road. Once there, take the second right which is the entrance to the Open Day parking area for visitors, where a Traffic Officer will be on hand to direct you. Once you've parked, follow 'Open Day Check-In' signs which will guide you to the Essex Sport Arena; the main venue for the Open Day. Parking is free for all Open Day attendees.
If you're arriving by train, we have 3 train stations in Colchester: Colchester Town, Colchester Hythe and Colchester North Station (also referred to as Colchester Main Station). Colchester North Station is the largest and has the best bus and taxi links so we recommend using this station. There is a taxi rank and bus stop at the station. The following buses will lead you to campus:
Further information about bus travel in Colchester can be found on the First Bus website and more information about travelling to our Colchester Campus can be found on our website.

The University is set across various levels, so please check out our Access Guide for further information or step-free routes around campus. Staff and Student Ambassadors will also be based in all main areas to assist you on the Open Day.
