Wednesday 17 August

Wednesday is all about preparing for Clearing so we've got a range of live talks to help:

  • 1.00pm - Preparing for results day. In this session we will cover what to expect on results day and give you some some tips on how you can best prepare for the big day.
  • 2.00pm - How to apply through Clearing. This session will cover the different clearing applications routes, including what to expect when you call our hotline and a run through of how to use our online application form.
  • 3.00pm - Student panel, featuring Essex students who came through Clearing. This session will be led by our undergraduate students. They'll discuss why they decided to study at Essex and why they think you should study with us too! You'll have the opportunity to ask them your questions too.
  • 4.00pm - Student support and wellbeing. In this session we will introduce you to the support and wellbeing services that we have available for our students, both in-person and online.
  • 5.00pm - Virtual Colchester Campus tour. In this session we will guide you through our virtual Colchester Campus tour, pointing out some key features of our Campus and giving you the chance to ask questions along the way.
  • 6.00pm - Guidance for parents and guardians. This session is designed for parents, guardians and carers of people who are planning to study at Essex in 2022 or beyond. The content will be tailored specifically to give you the information you need and advice on how you can support your young person on results day.
