Postgraduate Open Evening

Our Postgraduate Open Evening will feature a range of talks and sessions to get you thinking about postgraduate study at Essex.

During the evening you'll have the chance to speak with students and staff, ask questions and get the answers you need about things such as funding and accommodation, and learn more by attending talks on topics such as applying to Essex and funding your studies.

Unfortunately, due to industrial action taking place on the day of  the Postgraduate Open Evening, there will be a number of academic departments/subject areas who will not have the relevant staff able to attend. These include:

• Art History
• History
• Interdisciplinary Studies
• Law
• Literature, Film and Theatre Studies
• Philosophy
• Sociology

Please note, the following courses are now closed for 2022 entry but will have representatives from the department present at the evening:

• MSc Physiotherapy (pre-registration)
• MSc Speech and Language Therapy (pre-registration)
• Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology

You'll also have the opportunity to be shown around our Colchester Campus by a student ambassador and have a look inside student accommodation.

The main venue for this event is the Ivor Crewe Lecture Hall, but we will also be using the Hex as a base for refreshments as well as departments and student services. Our student ambassadors will be on hand to take you between locations.
