Reading effectively is one of the most important skills you need to succeed at university - and in life.

In this workshop we will discuss why and how we make notes from our reading. We will consider the benefits of making notes, such as avoiding plagiarism, saving time and helping our understanding of texts. We will go on to consider the merits of a variety of note-making techniques.

Our workshops run all year round, and cover all aspects of academic skills.  We also offer drop in writing and maths clinics where you can bring your work to get advice.
