Practice educator CPD
In line with the CSP Practice Based-Learning Principles (2022) team approach, and Health and Care Professions Standards for Education (2017) "5.6: Ensuring practice educators have relevant knowledge, skills and experience to support safe and effective learning", the University of Essex Physiotherapy programmes are facilitating the following, free to access, opportunities for our practice partners:
- Asynchronous, virtual practice educator induction: NHS Learning Hub
- In-person organisation visits
- Ongoing support

CPAF & EPAD Support
Autumn term 2024-2025
Discussion forum
We are continuing to run support sessions for the CPAF and EPAD platforms which have been in use from the start of the Autumn term 2023.
All practice educators who have recently, or about to support a student on placement are welcome to join to ask any questions and discuss anything related to CPAF and EPAD. Sessions will be hosted on Microsoft Teams.
Registration is not necessary, please join us on Microsoft Teams.
